Moab, Utah is a really special destination. It takes some time to get there by car, but once you arrive then one is transformed. Located 235 miles south of Salt Lake City, the 4 hour drive is the easiest way to access Moab if you need to fly.   Plus you will need a car to explore the sites near Moab.  This high mountain desert is home to 3 major National Parks and the Colorado River rolls by the outskirts of Moab. There are countless trails to hike and bike. The vistas of the red rocks are memorable and piercing.  The canyons themselves, carved by the Colorado or other long gone rivers and the wind are eerily beautiful.

Moab is a biking, hiking and rafting mecca. The parks and surrounding areas offer countless trails. The Colorado river has many great areas to raft, certainly Moab in Spring offers its fair share.
